The Sloane Club has very generously agreed to offer members of the Wine Guild free temporary weekend membership. For some of us, however, there will also be interest in the offer of full membership with the joining fee reduced to half the amount normally charged. The Sloane Club provides excellent value accommodation whilst being a quiet, comfortable and safe place to stay in a sought after part of London. This should appeal to Guild members looking for a pleasant alternative to a pied-a-terre in London, while for globe trotters there is the benefit of reciprocal clubs in many cities around the world, offering much better value for money than most hotel chains.

Sloane Club brochures and further information are available from the Guild’s Secretary and any Wine Guild member who wishes to learn more, or who has an opportunity to look around the facilities, will find a friendly staff ready and willing to make all of us feel most welcome. Indeed, some of us have already found the bar, dining room and meeting rooms very much to our liking.
