Harvest Thanksgiving

We have a harvest thanksgiving every second year which is held in magnificent surroundings of Beaulieu Abbey by the kind invitation of the Chancellor Lord Montagu.

Set out below is a typical timetable. The next Thanksgiving will be held in 2007.

Programme

10.00 a.m.		COFFEE will be served in the Cellarer's Hall of the Domus.

10.30 a.m.		Councillors to robe up.

10.50 a.m.		Members and Guests to proceed to Beaulieu Abbey Church.

11.00 a.m.		Procession of Councillors into Beaulieu Abbey Church for the SERVICE OF THANKSGIVING.

12.00 noon		WINE TASTING.

12.45 p.m.		INTRONISATION OF NEW MEMBERS.

1.15 p.m.		LUNCHEON in The Domus.

3.30 p.m. (approx):		Official activities end. Guests are welcome to visit the Gardens and attractions of Beaulieu.

DRESS:		Lounge suits (Councillors No. 2 Dress)
